The Yendor games (2 and 3) are fairly obscure so it’s very unlikely that anybody has even heard of them, let alone played them and the chances of anybody wanting to know how the file format works ends up becoming rediculously low.

Even so, my curiosity to understand gets the better of me.

The game archive files for Yendorian Tales 2 are fairly straight forward:

• pictures.vga - Game archive file for all graphics
• world.dat - Game archive file for all game data

As time progresses, I will add more details of my findings.
