In the past, viewers of the show have commented that the shape of the Monster has a physical form similar to a creature, with a body and a prominent head and while we’ve had various characters in the show throughout the series, including this episode, mention that they looked into the “eye” (presumably) of the Monster and what they saw was.. While watching Sundown, I couldn’t help but notice something in the smoke, so I took a closer look and it definitely appears as though there is a human figure within the smoke as it passes over Kate and Claire. While it isn’t as obvious in the still below, the shape you can see toward the top-right is the shape of a human, specifically the lower half of the body. Running through Lost for the second time, you have a greater appreciation for what the show is about, especially with regards to the various happenings in the show, that while appearing some five seasons in, were foreshadowed from the very beginning. Also being a big fan of who is clearly the protagonist of the show, John Locke, I've decided to throw together some of his best bits for prosperity's sake, starting with the excellent "chin-wipe-grin-chuckle" moment, for want of a better description…
